New BASF iPhone App

Already online and ripe for the mobile app market!

We are proud and delighted to announce the arrival of the farmers’ new friend – the GAI and UK sclerotinia monitoring info app. This tool allows farmers, agronomists and more to take a photo of their crop and the app will calculate the Green Area Index – how much crop is in the photo – neat right?!

At the touch of a button there is access to the latest Sclerotinia bulletins and to all the archived information as well. Even our temperamental UK weather can be checked out as we’ve included a feature which allows the farmer to see the latest weather forecast showing rain, air temperature and wind speed etc., from their GPS location (or indeed whatever UK location they choose).

The App was built for the one of iSEV’s clients – the world’s largest chemical company – BASF.
