BASF operates in a variety of markets. Its business is organized in the segments Chemicals, Plastics, Performance Products, Functional Solutions, Agricultural Solutions and Oil & Gas.



They partnered Monsanto and Yara, two other big names in the agricultural business to address some of the key challenges UK farmers faced when growing oilseed rape. They were looking to demonstrate the most effective management and agronomy via trials, open days and knowledge transfer.


As part of the communication plan, a website needed to be created for farmers to find out more about the project, to house all the information and potential live feeds/updates from the sites and a blog.


It needed to bring together all the case studies and information the three had found and hold it in a central place for all to learn and improve their oil-seed yield.


We created an information based website, targeted at farmers primarily, but also available for open distribution, that engaged and associated with the brand and project.


It provided a clear understanding why the three companies have come together and what the objectives were, demonstrating to the market a thorough understanding of OSR and how to maximise the potential of the crop, become a knowledge centre and provide practical information.
